MOTOR CROSS BIKE TEST CRITERIA
Candidate must have passed BASIC
and INTERMEDIATE tests and be able to complete the following on
grass or muddy surfaces:
" Pull off from stationary
with confidence and control, reaching at least second gear and
then stop without skidding or otherwise loosing control.
" Pull off from stationary
with confidence and control, at a significantly higher speed turn
round at a cone (tightly) and then return also at higher speed
and stop (without progressively slowing down first) at a pre-determined
spot without skidding or otherwise loosing control.
" Complete a small figure
of eight tightly round cones.
" Make one lap, one fast
lap and one in lap round the Harrowby "Course" fully
in control, the fast lap in not less 10 seconds more than 36 seconds
(time set by Scott and monitored over first few tests).
" Ride over the "humps"
(nearest feature at Harrowby to a "Woops" fully in control
in not less than 20 seconds (time set by Scott on the KX125 and
monitored over first few tests).
" Ride round the features
circuit, ending down the "cut out" and make a small
jump on exit being fully under control thought and not touching
the walls on either side.
